Kids On The Line? Run Them Down!
Travelling home from London was a nightmare. I was standing in Euston station and as soon as the platform was announced the entire floor just raced out of the door and towards the train. Even though the train was quite large I still didn’t get a seat and ended up standing for the 2.5 hours that it took us to get home.
What made this even more annoying was that we had a report that there were some kids playing on the line near the Lichfield Trent Valley train station. This meant that we had to do about 10 miles an hour whilst going through the town, and for good way afterwards.
I am of the opinion that if you are stupid enough to play on a train line then you DESERVE to get killed by a train. I find it an outrage that I should have to wait for an extra half an hour to get home just because of some stupid kids. I loathe a culture that allows for stupid people to get away with being stupid.
